08-oct Regional update
Hsueh-tze Lee returns for the third time to Singapore in November. The American-Chinese tango teacher / deejay from Boston moved from a life as a university professor into a life of milonguera, and she has been active in promoting the close-embrace, rhythmic dancing style commonly called "milonguero-style" in North America. Her Singapore workshop runs over 2 weekends in 22-30/nov and there are also 2 milongas where you can meet her up close: 22/nov at JJSalsaRengue (studio milonga) and 29/nov at Abrazos. The classes are $40 each (90min), take the first weekend’s topics if you are new to Close Embrace style, and take the second weekend for tips on dancing to specific orchestras.
